Government readies trade show to promote RP outsourcing

The Department of Trade and Industry through the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) is preparing for the 10th e-Services Global Sourcing Conference and Exhibition as part of its trade promotion program for the ICT/BPO sector in a bid to further strengthen the country’s foothold as outsourcing destination of choice in the Asia Pacific.

Local and international campaign for the event follows the recent win of the Philippines as the “Best Offshoring Destination of the Year” in the recently concluded 6th annual National Outsourcing Association (NOA) Awards in the United Kingdom, edging out shortlisted contenders Egypt, Russia, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka in the event held at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in Central

DigitalFilipino E-Commerce Summit 2009 – November 12 and 13

I’ll be attending the upcoming DigitalFilipino E-Commerce Summit this November 12 and 13 at Hotel Intercontinental, Makati City.  The conference has a combination of topics from digital marketing, mobile commerce, search engine marketing, and the likes.

Yahoo Purple Hunt Finale & Car Location Clues

I’ve been hearing about this Yahoo Purple Hunt for quite sometime now but never got interested until it is now about that Honda Jazz purple car.

However, there are not much clues around. Janette posted two clues so far and they are:

1. The location was featured in phase 3 (Blackberry Smartphone) (July 14 clue)
2. The Purple Crew visited this location to give away Yahoo Swags. (July 15 clue)

The first clue gave six possible locations:

• Trinoma
• Glorietta
• Fort Bonifacio
• Ocean Park
• UST
• Market! Market!

However, the 2nd clue takes away UST & Ocean Park.
