Manny Pacquiao defeats Oscar De La Hoya at end of Round 8 & Busby SEO Test
Manny Pacquiao won the fight, technical knock out, versus Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya as the latter threw the towel prior to the start of the 9th round.
Pacquiao was dominant throughout the fight using his speed and power punches hurting De La Hoya and countering his supposedly size advantage.
De La Hoya suffered a lot from Pacquiao for this fight as he got cut, hurt, and became like a human punching bag. His good looking face got a lot of beating. His left eye almost got shut, due to punches, at the end of the 7th round. De La Hoya’s fans were shocked as well as one even fainted as the fight progresses.
Some observed, at the 8th round, Pacquiao hesitated knocking out De La Hoya and sees it as form of respect for his idol.Â
Prior to this match, folks have different opinion as to who might win. Some say it will be Oscar De La Hoya as he is a natural at this weight class and have the capability to manhandle his opponent. While others say Pacquiao will likely take it as he is at his prime. Some also speculate that this will reach a decision – no knockout. I’m sure there will be a lot of analysis as to what went well and wrong for both boxers in this fight.

The funny thing about a Pacquiao fight is the politicians who took advantage of it to gain international television exposure. Well that’s boxing and politics Filipino-style.
